I am too having problems with these crooks. They make communicating with them virtually impossible, other than by post. They sent me a letter full of unreasonable admin charges for late payment, which by the way, was caused by their lack of willingness to communicate properly. I am writting back to them saying I do not recognise, will not pay these charges and do not authorise for anyone to take them off my bank account. I agree with Dirkybran that something must be done. Just do not know what.

Hi Lindsey,,

I'm having a similar problem to yourself. I've not contacted O2 yet as I know how slippery these contractors can be. i've had my iphone for over 18mths and recently had it stolen along with my bag in Central London.. I'm trying to get more info before I put a claim in as I've paid the insurance for 19mths (£152) and monthly contract (roughly £741) I don't want them to wriggle out of their obligations ... Has your issue been resolved yet??

Thanks Eco

I had my bag stolen earlier today in Central London, which contained my iphone 3g (insured). I've heard bad things about the insurance O2 offers. Will this be covered?? It was a "theft" and the insurance policy states it covers "theft" and "loss" but these two definitions seem to be left open to their interpretation.. PLEASE COULD YOU GIVE ME SOME ADVICE...

Cheers Eco

Outside Stanford Le Hope Station, they made the car entrance smaller... But I don't understand why they did it. They did make the disable access better, but this could have been done without losing the space for the cars.

Make no sense to me and seems like a waste of money. Anyone knows why they did it?

Other companies - Pier management 2

I live in a flat managed by pier, in fact we have 2 agents, pier and countrywide, pier just do our insurance. Recently they sent a payment request for insurance and I disputed this as being too expensive, I got qoutes for cheaper like for like insurance and they told me that they are not obliged to get or use cheaper qoutes. They are also hard to speak to and do not always reply to e-mails or return calls and because of this I am now faced with an extra charge for late payment. Has anyone else experienced anything like this and knows how to deal with it as I do not want to pay the charge and would like to get rid of Pier management completely.

c2c Rail - Disruption to C2C Services 15.07.10

I have been commuting on C2C from Chafford Hundred since 1996 and in the 14 years between then and now disruption management has not improved one bit. Yet again customer service was completely neglected as was the Ockendon branch service. I was at Barking station between 19:00 and 19:40 and the c2c staff were either in hiding or claiming not to know what was going on. It was not until 19:30 that any mention at all was made of a Chafford hundred train. Absolutely pathetic c2c - when are you going to get your act together? Your customers pay a huge amount for your "service" so at least have the courtesy to communicate with them.

Some key ideas from this:

*later last trains from Fenchurch Street at around 1-1.30am
*improved Sunday service via Rainham
*Boxing Day services
*Oyster vending including self service ticket machines

The last point appears to be happening. There are now (non-functioning) Oyster readers on some self service ticket machines at Upminster. Not sure about Barking, Dagenham Dock, Rainham or the stations in Thurrock.
