Thanks for the feedback Lakesider. You have a very valid point. How we would co-ordinate for the drivers is a difficult one but should be much less so for the station staff. This will be passed up to the Director responsible.

just a quick point to add - if the previous occupant had chosen to have their caller ID withheld by default, when you dial 17070 it will not read the phone number. If this happens, try again with a prefix of 1470 before 17070 - this is the opposite of 141 (ie, it sends your caller ID for that one call).

Not much you can do now except complain to customer services and even that's probably been left a bit late now.
Stations down the line have had a lot of staffing issues in recent months.
Fenchurch street station are also a law unto themselves on a number of subjects.

Upminster station is generally open when it is supposed to be although staffing levels are not what they used to be.
Try there in future (if it's convenient)

The 05:47 Southend Central to Fenchurch St stopped at Barking this morning. Unscheduled and unannounced. Shame that it all breaks down when, in the absence of an automated announcement, a c2c employee has to think about the alien concept of delivering customer service.

Due to a recent increase in the amount of fake registrations from outside the UK, plus recent spam attacks, some changes to the forum security policy have been made. We're hoping this is only temporary.

Here is a summary of what has changed:

Removal of "website" field from user profile

Increased level of security (IP spoofing, proxy servers)

New user accounts require admin approval

No registration from domains that allow creation of free email accounts

We have removed all accounts where there have been no posts ever made, and there has been no login in the last three years

Some IP addresses have been blocked, mostly from outside the UK were multiple false accounts have been created

We're hoping that most users will not be affected.
Hi, I used to work in the insurance industry, so know quite a bit about how policies work etc and how to complain correctly to an insurance company (surprisingly, there is a way that will ALWAYS get something resolved, cant say it will always be resolved the way you want it to be but at least you can draw it to a close). I had wondered if there may be a section on here for that specificially as that is my "area" but I dont see one, but if you have anything do post and i'll try my best for you

Well, i have to say i was originally impressed with the service and price quoted for hte 02 broadband. However, a few months into the contract it turns out they had amended the T&C (without emailing us!) and we now had a "cap" on our downloads. Now this is an issue for me as I work from home and a lot of what i do involves looking at downloads or streaming sites so i needed unlimited, which is what i signed up for. They told us they would monitor it for a month and if we still went over they would give us a mac code and we could get ourselves another ISP. Well, we cut right down, basically the only person onlline was me, and sometimes OH and the boys with their online games (facebook ones etc) and these are still classed in the download limit! Anyway once we cancelled and moved o2 then tried to charge me about £60! when in fact it was only £3 something for a few days. I did complain and fortunatly i had all the emails so i won
