Information about o2's Online service

o2 online offers tariffs targeted at users of SMS text messaging and the Mobile Internet (WAP). O2 Online customers find that they're able to reduce the cost of their bills, as the tariffs are very competitive especially for texters.

The benefits of o2 online:

Free text messages:	Send up to 1000 free SMS text messages from your handset
Free minutes:	Up to 1500 a month
Free mobile phone:	o2 online carries a range of the latest mobiles and smartphones, or if you prefer, you can keep your own handset and go for a SIM-only deal
Choice of options:	Choose a pay-monthly or a pay-as-you-go tariff, either with or without a handset. See o2's tariffs
Keep your number:	You can keep your current mobile phone number, although the transfer may take up to 28 days, depending on your existing provider
Online bills:	Manage your phone bill online with free itemised billing (see example).

If you're a big user of SMS text messaging, then o2's online tariffs could sway you to sign up with o2. With o2's online pay-monthly and pay-as-you-go tariffs, you can send up to 1000 free messages a month from your mobile.

o2 has a good coverage of the UK, offers a good number of different tariffs that work out even cheaper if you're prepared to go for an 18-month contract instead of a 12 month contract.

Notes: Free SMS doesn't apply to messages sent from outside the UK. SMS messages over monthly limit charged at 10p per message. 'Any network' free minutes apply to standard rate UK fixed lines, calls to any UK network mobiles and voicemail 901 calls.
